knit & sun

Ever since setting eyes on this magical pineapple ensemble via Altuzarra SS17, I’ve been slightly obsessed with shades of yellow — canary, butter, lemon, daffodil — you name it. But when it comes to actually wearing the hue, that’s proven to be difficult. Vibrancy also means overpowering, and it can wash me out. But, I’ve decided that’s not a good enough excuse not to wear a color I love.

I came across this Topshop knit — the fact that it is a sweater and comes with a flattering tie-wrap makes it wearable. It’s painted a sunshine-yellow, and wearing it puts a big grin on my face. 😛

I love the vibrant yellow top dear. The color really pops out. You paired it perfectly with those black high-rise jeans.

Yes yellow is having a bit of a moment. I saw it during FW on both sides of the pond. It can be hard to wear but you really pulled it off here. Great look!
