Putting away the frivolous and welcoming in the functional – it’s a process that happens organically with the arrival of fall. Symptoms are especially apparent when it comes to my wardrobe’s palette: out with the canary yellow jumpsuits and tangerine tea dresses; in with the dove gray knits and weathered ankle boots.
In this outfit I attempt to make the most out of my transitional grey-colored pieces: silver slides with a metallic sheen, charcoal jeans with frayed hems, ruffles that are basically coming out of my armpits, and dangly earrings that resemble wrecking balls. I’m semi-determined not to sacrifice fun for functionality, but we’ll see how it goes. 😛
Until next time!
