pleats & scarlet

Another day, another outfit! I had a lot of fun putting together this look, which is centered around the stunning Mulberry Clifton bag that I recently got (ahh!). It’s perched next to me right now as I’m writing this post and I can’t take my eyes off of it. In a brilliant shade of scarlet and detailed with pressed gold studs, the design is simple yet striking. Since my fall/ winter wardrobe contains mostly neutral colors, I thought a red bag would be perfect to top off darker looks and brighten up cold days.

This asymmetrical cold-shoulder knit is another piece I’ve been loving. The slouchy fit, fluid silhouette, and unexpected show of skin make it unique. I paired it with a navy pleated skirt for added texture and sheen. Ended up being a really fun outfit to wear!

I like your reasoning for getting a scarlet bag due to the existing colours in your wardrobe for the season. That’s practicality 😉 I also like to assess my current (small!) wardrobe to see what I really need to add according to the gaps.
