lines & angles

Bold silhouettes, striking prints, and quality fabrics — the Aussie brand C/meo Collective became an instant favorite since I first discovered its experimental designs during college. I still remember putting on that first piece I ordered from them: a wide-leg, strappy jumpsuit covered with a vivid orange-blue peony print. I could not get enough of it and wore it to parties, graduation, Hawaiian vacations, everything.

One of their recent collections, Composure, has a more muted color palette, but the play on geometry and proportions as well as the addition of sculptural details (think dramatic ruffles and wide sleeves) make you do a double-take. This wrap dress, with its contrast piping and dramatic lines, is one I couldn’t resist. I paired it with black-and-white loafers to complete the monochrome look.

This dress also easily transitions into fall. Layer it over a turtleneck and add a pair of block-heel boots. Voilà!

Ahh I am loving this dress so so much! C/meo is one of my all time favorite brands and i still haven’t managed to add any of their pieces into my wardrobe. Such a shame!
