Sleeves are rarely the focal point of an outfit, but this past year designers have been making them the center of attention — extra-extra-long sleeves, ruffles on ruffles, extreme bell sleeves, puffy balloon sleeves… Yep, sleeves are having a major moment.
This top is a more wearable version of the bell sleeves trend. It is 3/4-sleeved, thus a little more forgiving when I want to reach over the dinner table without covering it in marinara sauce. The sleeves flutter about in the wind, making it really fun to wear. Since the top is quite dramatic, I wore it with simple white culottes and topped the look off with a few gold accents.
I’ve really been enjoying & Other Stories’ jewellry collection lately. They have everything from statement pendants to dainty studs, and their pieces add a touch of polish and interest to any outfit.
I also want to give a shout-out to these shoes — the mid block-heel makes them so comfortable, and the metallic heel is a unique touch, adding a bit of edge. I’m sure I’ll be wearing them quite a bit this coming spring and summer!
