blue & white

It was abnormally warm in Boston the past couple of days, and it felt as if the population doubled. Everyone was out and about or sunbathing in the park — spring was definitely in the air! It felt so strange, but so good, to stroll around in a pair of ripped jeans instead of speed-walking to work like a madman, burritoed in layers of knits and wool. It was also fun to break into my spring wardrobe. This trench — by one of my favorite brands, & Other Stories — is a great transitional piece. It’s lightweight, so comfortable, and goes with anything from workwear to a party frock. I wore it with a casual t-shirt and jeans combo, and slightly elevated the look with a pair of white heels.

I rarely wear heels (mostly because I can’t stand the pain), but the chunky heel on this pair adds a touch of glam without compromising comfort.

Beautiful outfit! I’m also so excited to wear something else than sweaters and heavy coats! Best feeling. 🙂

Great idea to elevate the look whith white heels. Sometimes, a little something more can make a huge difference to how great your outfit looks! Love it!

So simple and chic! I love your transitional outfit – you’re right it is almost odd to be walking about without a hundred layers – Same story here in London! You’re looking super great for the in between season!
